The Sun was out, the beer was Brewery-Fresh, the Beer Garden is open and the atmosphere was brilliant! What a superb weekend of beer, food and sunshine in our newly opened beer garden.
The weekend sunshine was a great relief from the GoT-length winter months. The sunshine brought our regulars (and a few new faces) out to visit The Cheshire Brewhouse on-site tap room and newly introduced beer garden.
Rise of the Beer Garden
We answered demand for an on-site tasting area by building and opening the on-site tap room, this enabled us to serve up our award-winning beers, brewery-fresh, in sight of the brewery. Recently, to meet growing demand, we also introduced a line for guest craft lagers and beers. Following organic growth we needed to extend to provide further outside space, so we opened the brewery yard up and made our beer garden, which we are very happy be able to provide.
The beer garden is looking to be a great addition to the on-site Brewery tap and tasting room. This weekend’s sunshine saw the growing crowd of regulars fill the available space, following on from a successful evening of acoustic music from the band of Travelling Minstrels, earlier in the week.
Family Friendly Sun Trap
The beer garden (yard) provides shelter as well as being a sun trap, making it a great place to enjoy our no-milage, super-fresh beers, under the shade of a table-umbrella or if you prefer, there are shady areas too... This is where you can often find Jack, the brewery dog, looking for any stray crisps. In the weekend sunshine, the beer garden was a real showcase for the welcoming, family environment we are looking to create. We have further plans to make the beer garden more comfortable, and hope to add a stage very soon, so we can showcase, lots of local musical talent, over the coming summer months.
Opening the on-site tap room enabled us to serve up our own brewery-fresh offerings, in sight of the brewery. Recently, to meet growing demand, we also introduced a guest line for guest craft lagers and beers. However, if top-quality, award winning craft cask, keg and bottled beer isn’t your thing, we do try to cater for everyone, and also offer an array of alternatives with; Craft Gins & Tonics; Spirits, Chilled Wine and Prosecco; Tea/Coffee and; Cold soft drinks amongst others on sale.
Looking to the near future, we aim to keep our regulars happy by maintaining our own produce to the consistently high-standard they have come to expect, as well as complimenting this with a mix of guest beers, BBQ food and music/live events. We always welcome new faces and hope to see more visits from further afield.
The on-site tasting room and beer garden is very welcoming, family (Child & Dog) friendly and is also highly accessible, being a mere two minute walk from Congleton Park field, that's around a five minute walk from the town centre. If you have someone to drive you home, there is plenty of parking space available.
