The Oktoberfest roots began in October 1810, when the Bavarian Crown Prince Ludwig married Princess Therese of Saxony-Hildburghausen with a large festival held, in Munich. This festival has carried on through the years.
The German festival, Oktoberfest is best known for the huge traditional German steins and traditional Lederhosen attire.
The Cheshire Brewhouse Oktoberfest, beer festival, sets out a brilliant weekend of beer, food, musical entertainment and getting people together to enjoy the whole occasion.
Following on from Shane appearing live on SkyNews Live earlier in the week, the Oktoberfest, beer festival, weekend is a great excuse to join your friends and have a good time.
The onsite Tap Room bar opens from 12pm Friday to Sunday with the bar open to 11pm Friday and Saturday with live music 7:30-10pm Friday and Saturday. Sunday food and music 4-7pm
Street food comes from The Curry Den on Friday and Saturday Evening.
The Sunshine Street Food Co. returns with Caribbean street food on Sunday afternoon.
The live music stage hosts the following live acts:

- Sunday: Malpractice
The Oktoberfest beer festival has a great selection of guest beers in the pipeline and we have our own beers pouring, including a rare chance to sample the current RMI Analytics World Champion Beer: Govinda Chevallier Edition, from the wood. This is a real treat not to be missed.
We do recommend arriving early to enjoy the as much of the weekend as you can and help make this a festival to remember.
