Head Brewer, Shane Swindells, is taking The Cheshire Brewhouse to Portland, Maine, USA, to feature at The Maine Brewers Guild International Beer Festival. The festival is part of Portland Beer Week, held in early November.
Shane's itinerary includes visits to several local breweries with some possible collaborations penciled in. The Cheshire Brewhouse has a selection of beers featuring as part of a series of Tap Takeovers and at the festival.
Talking about the opportunity, Shane said: "I am extremely happy to have this opportunity to fly the flag for British beer, and the best of British brewing ingredients that we use in all our beers at The Cheshire Brewhouse. I am excited to have the chance to exhibit my 2018 Green Hop harvest ale the international beer festival. I also have our popular DBA and Belgium IPA: Scream if you Want to Go Faster, which is organised for tap takeovers in some popular Portland Bars during their beer week. I'm relishing this opportunity to fly the flag for Great British Beer in the USA."
